U.S. Wheelchair National Championships
Once again, the Utica Curling
Club will host the United States Curling Association's Wheelchair
National Championships. Curlers will compete to
represent the U.S. at the 2008 World Wheelchair Championships.

Overview
Due to the relatively small numbers of participants, the Wheelchair
National Championship is a non-geographic championship aimed at
determining the U.S.'s top wheel chair teams. There are no regional or
state playdowns.
Eligibility
Any player who meets the Wheelchair Curling physical eligibility rules
(classifications) and is a citizen of the U.S. is eligible. A
description of the wheelchair curling classifications can be obtained
by request from the USCA office or downloaded from the USCA web site
usacurl.org. This description carries the status of official USCA
rules.
Every player must either be a dues-paying
individual member of a curling club which, for the current year and
immediate past curling year, is a member of a state or region
association which is a member of the USCA, or, must pay a $100
administration fee to the USCA.

Teams must enter through the USCA office via mail or fax.

Process and Format
The format for the Wheelchair Nationals depends on the number of
entries and will be peer seeded. The 2006 Nationsl will be best two
out of three games. The USCA format formula described in
Section 1 of the USCA
Championship
Rules & Procedures booklet will be used. The
World Wheelchair Curling Championship Rules of the World Curling
Federation shall govern all play except as otherwise provided in
Section 2 of the USCA
